I own a lot of makeup for eyes, lips, cheeks, breasts (yeah someone sent me a sample a lonnngg time ago – super creepy and I swear I never used it), but if you saw me sitting here right now as my desk typing this, you’d probably be a little disappointed as to what I look like on a normal basis.
Not so glamorous. Yep, I’m wearing yoga pants, a sports bra, top of course, and I’m bundled up with my space heater.
Who knows if I really need my space heater as I haven’t left the house yet today to find out. Pathetic. But, thus the life of working from home. Don’t you worry though, after I’m finished with this I’m going to put my hair up in a pony tail, slip on some outdoor appropriate clothing, and scurry out of the house for a Skinny Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks, which, I’ll admit, I’m addicted to (I’ve been drinking them like they’re going out of style and I’m pretty sure I’m prob allergic to them, all that chocolate’s got to have soy)!
Okay, enough for my rambling, I have to apologize, about 15 min ago I decided that I would “cure” the muscle strain or pinched nerve, or whatever it is, in my leg with a dose of muscle relaxers.
You see, ever since I’ve diagnosed myself with gluten and soy allergies, I’ve decided I am now the doctor of my house, running around curing things left and right. HA! But that’s another conversation, on another day, and today I need to pull it together to discuss allergy free makeup.
So back to the disaster of what I look like right now. I could REALLY use a stitch of allergy free makeup for eyes, my lips need some gloss, and yep, I need a bit of bronzer.
To tell you the truth, I’m bad – I don’t ever check my makeup labels. Gasp!
And I know I should. I could probably be putting kitten blood on my lips and be using cat fur makeup for eyes and I wouldn’t even know it. No.. No.. bad image.. bad idea to write that. My little kitten Mika is luckily safe and sound asleep downstairs.
You never know what could be in your makeup. Seriously.
But if you’re looking for a brand of allergy free makeup where you don’t have to worry about getting an allergic reaction from. Makeup for eyes that won’t make them red and puffy, makeup for lips that won’t create a rash, and makeup for cheeks and face that won’t make you blow up like a balloon or break out like a teenager, there’s one brand that comes to the rescue.
Bare Escentuals and Bare Minerals makeup contains only the necessary ingredients. They’ve got them listed on their site just to assure you.
And guess what.. just in time for the holidays to look holiday and New Year beautiful, if you stop by a Bare Escentuals boutique near by from today (12/2) to Sunday (12/4) you can get a complimentary Party Perfect Look - a travel-size Prime Time Foundation Primer.
Yep, they’re giving it to you just for stopping by. How cool is that?
And if you spend $60 you get a FREE Precision Eye Defining Brush.
If you miss their free offer this weekend, stop by the boutique anyway because you can pick up free samples, a free skincare consultation, tips and tricks, and they’ll let you play with over 500 different makeup products!!
But if you’re like me and you’re sitting here reading this in your yoga pants and don’t plan on heading out the door any time soon, hit up their site because you can get free shipping with all $50 purchases!.
WAHOOO!!
Happy Shopping. Time to gift yourself this holiday season… gotta admit.. I always do that too. Holidays and birthdays.. what would a girl do if she couldn’t give presents to herself!?
Today’s gift, Starbucks Skinny Peppermint Mocha – Ciao!
xo,
L.
