{Recipe Alert} Allergy Free PB&J Morning Smoothie!

There was one thing I TOTALLY missed when I was in Disney… my morning smoothies. I just don’t feel right if I don’t have one! It’s not the same when you’re eating eggs or pancakes or waffles for breakfast (though delicious… doesn’t get my morning started in the same way).

Every single week day morning I drink a healthy smoothie for breakfast to get me going and keep me feeling healthy. On the weekends of course I switch it up and have something fun like pancakes, waffles, or something else bad for me, but during the week I try to keep a better diet.

This is one of my favorite recipes because it tastes exactly like a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and who DOESN’T love those?!

Plus, this is a GREAT recipe to use Wholesome Sweeteners products in (my absolute favorite healthy and delicious sugar substitute). If you picked up an Allergy Free Survival Kit, you probably got a ton of Wholesome Sweeteners samples to play with and this is def one of those recipes!

The reason I use agave instead of getting sweetened milk for my smoothies, is that agave is not only delicious, but it’s also low glycemic so you won’t  have that early morning sugar crash. SO important especially in the morning!

Wholesome sweeteners has a HUGE range of different flavors, as you can see below and I use all of them in my smoothies (just a little bit) to sweeten them up. Strawberry has to be my favorite in this smoothie since it just adds to that yummy jelly flavor.

  • 2 teaspoons Wholesome Sweeteners Strawberry Agave

Directions

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
