I was intending on spending all day yesterday (rainy, dreary Sunday makes me think of Maroon 5′s song) on blog posts, exciting updates, tips, videos (hint: on how to ice a cupcake), and of course developing the party products I’ll be bringing oh so soon, but I just could NOT gather the motivation. So instead, Adam and I spent all day watching movie after movie curled up on the couch…
Maybe it was the disappointment I was harboring since I still have not received the awesome new camera I ordered or maybe it was the fact that I’ve come to the realization that a year after I found out about my gluten allergy I am now, again, undergoing similar symptoms and have to play with my diet to figure out what I am NOW allergic too. UGH! Will this game never end?! And really, when you are in a mood like I was, all you want to do is chomp on a HUGE piece of chocolate cake, but without knowing what’s making me sick – I CAN’T (prob a good allergen free recipe for later this week though so stay tuned).
But as the 100th HUGE rain and all-day thunder storm rolls into Philadelphia today (check out the view of it coming across the sky from my window this afternoon) I’ve finally found the place I need to be to bring sunshine, happiness, and allergen free party updates to you.
And what better way to get over this blah than to share one of my favorite things to do, which is, ice cupcakes! Who doesn’t love cupcakes… seriously?! Especially allergen free ones that taste yumm-delicious!
So today I’m going to show you (in only 60 seconds) how to ice a cupcake like a professional baker! After watching this video, you’ll be able to ice cupcakes just as beautifully as your favorite bakery — and I promise, it’s really not hard once you have the right tools.
But first, if you haven’t watched my last video on how to properly fill an icing bag, make sure to do that first so you can put it all together!
